Another 2020 Update

Hi, friends! 

I wanted to share some good news and some bad news, because 2020 continues to have zero chill. But let’s start with the good news! 

Apparently moving once during a pandemic wasn’t enough for us because...we bought a house! I’ve always dreamed of finally having a home studio space that I could really call my own, and I’m so beyond excited for this new space. I seriously cannot WAIT to show you the finished product. We’re doing some DIY projects to the house before we move in (including totally making over the studio), but we’re so ready to have a little more space while working from home all day every day. 

Now to the bad news: all of our markets for 2020 have been cancelled and we are not signing up for any markets in the foreseeable future. I’m continuously grateful to all our usual market coordinators for prioritizing everyone’s safety and cancelling in-person events right now. As much as I love providing a jewelry shopping space and meeting you in person, it’s super tough to keep a safe, sanitary display at a busy market when everything we sell relies on shoppers touching everything. 

BUT that doesn’t mean Quicksilver is going anywhere! I’m taking a quick break from making new pieces while we work on the house, but the shop is still open and fully stocked and I am able to get all ready-to-ship orders in the mail on our usual timeline! The new studio will also provide plenty of space for me to set up my usual display so we can do some live sales on Instagram or something in the future. Also, I have some new ideas that you bet I’ll be getting a start on once we’re all settled, so keep an eye out!
